This page explains what cookies are, which ones this site uses and how you stay in control of your consent. It is written in accordance with Quebec’s Act to modernize legislative provisions respecting the protection of personal information (“Law 25”).

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small file placed on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit a website. It can, for example, remember your display preferences, keep certain pages working properly or measure how often the site is visited. A cookie cannot run programs or damage your device.

Your consent

Cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work are always active, because the site cannot function properly without them. All other cookies — including those used for audience measurement or set by third-party services — are only placed after obtaining your prior consent.

Categories of cookies used

To date, this site sets no third-party tracking cookies and uses no audience-analytics tool. Only one strictly necessary session cookie is used, to keep the administration area signed in when Delphine logs in.

Strictly necessary cookies

They provide the site’s basic functions: security, display stability, load balancing across servers and remembering your cookie choices. They are not used to identify you for commercial purposes and do not require your consent, but we mention them for the sake of transparency.

Audience-measurement cookies

If enabled, they help us understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used: the most-visited pages, where visits come from, how long they last. These statistics are used solely to improve the content and navigation. They are only set with your consent.

Third-party service cookies

Some features rely on external services that may set their own cookies — for example, displaying a map, embedded content or links to social media. These cookies are governed by the privacy policies of the providers concerned and are only activated with your consent.

Managing or withdrawing your consent

Retention period

How long a cookie lasts depends on its function. Some are deleted as soon as you close your browser; others are kept for a limited period to remember your preferences, after which they expire or are renewed if you consent again.
